Cask Selection

A typical Glenfarclas whisky is traditionally matured in sherry casks. The golden drop is allowed to develop its unique aroma and taste during a period of 15 years. And it succeeds in doing so.

Aroma
Sherry is clearly the dominant note in Glenfarclas 15 YOs deep bouquet. The single malt whiskys aroma is intense and complex – perfect for connoisseurs. Cream candy, grass and fruits such as oranges, kiwis, apricots and apples are recognizable during the nosing and merge wonderfully with hints of honey.

Taste
The intense and complex character of Glenfarclas 15 impresses the tongue. The Scotch Whisky shows with great power tones of white chocolate and black pepper. Notes of orange and grapefruit provide the perfect fruitiness. It then becomes interesting with a little spice: Wood, smoke and roasted aromas envelop the tongue and create a wonderful taste experience.
